Looking Back, Moving Forward

Hello, and welcome! I’m thrilled to share that I’ve officially launched my website—Reflourish Co.—a space to showcase my artistic journey and future endeavors. If you’ve followed my work on Etsy (Prints Escape), thank you for your support—it’s been an incredible stepping stone.

Looking back over the past year, I poured much of my time and energy into creating printable art for Prints Escape. My collection has grown to include literary and inspirational sports quotes, Bible verses, and vintage botanical art. These designs have been a labor of love, allowing me to combine my passion for creativity with meaningful words and themes.

A big milestone this past year was receiving a thoughtful gift from my husband: an iPad. With it, I dove headfirst into digital art, learning Procreate and experimenting with hand-lettered designs, illustrations, and even patterns. Alongside my digital work, I’ve also rediscovered my love for painting, which has been a deeply fulfilling creative outlet. Exploring different mediums has been an exciting way to expand my artistic toolbox and push my boundaries.

My journey as a creator spans many years. Since 2006, I’ve run over five Etsy shops, each reflecting different phases of my creativity. Most notably, I launched Prints Escape, where I focused on printable art, and Gazzu, where I sold handmade hair accessories and jewelry. Each shop taught me invaluable lessons and helped shape my artistic vision.

Outside of art, I’ve dedicated a lot of time to volunteering for my son’s club swim team. He is currently a sophomore in high school, while my friend and I both have kids who are now college sophomores swimming for their colleges. We’ve been co-running the team for over five years—a labor of love and a special way to give back to a community that has been such a significant part of our lives. While the team runs smoothly now, it’s been a time-intensive commitment, and I’m grateful for the experience and the connections we’ve built along the way.

Looking ahead to this year, I’m excited to bring all my creative ventures under one roof here at Reflourish Co. This site will feature a blend of my work, from vintage-inspired prints to illustrations, patterns, paintings (see image above of a few of my paintings), and even my poetry. I’m also toying with the idea of adding my jewelry and accessories—stay tuned!

This new chapter is about exploring new possibilities, reconnecting with old passions, and creating a space that feels like a true reflection of me and my journey. Thank you for stopping by and supporting my work—it means the world to me. I can’t wait to see where this year takes us!
